Another successful quarter is in the books, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress our teams have made. This past quarter we focused on solving our users’ biggest problems and have had some awesome releases. Keep reading to learn what our teams were able to accomplish.

A Brand New Builder

form builder

We launched a brand new form builder in our app. The new builder project has been in the works for almost a year now, and we’re so happy with how it turned out. This new builder is faster than ever and will have you building forms in no time. Here are some of the key additions:

  • Enhanced Navigation: We’ve added a new toolbar to the top of the form so you can find the things you need easier.
  • Better Drag and Drop: Dragging and dropping fields onto forms has been made simpler with the addition of highlight boxes.
  • Organized Themes: The updated Style section of the app allows you to find and sort your themes better than before.

Jump into the Formstack app if you haven’t seen the new builder yet, or read more about the update here.

New Participant Users

Our Workflows feature works best when you have your whole team on board and ready to be assigned a step of the process. Our users needed a better way to get all employees, educators, doctors, and office staff involved in their workflows. We created a new type of user called Participant Users to accomplish this. Participant Users are users on the account who can only participate in steps of a workflow form. They’re a cost-effective way to get lots of users on your account, and they help alleviate the pain admins face when managing user permissions. Account admins can even see how many users are participating in workflows on the new Participant Usage dashboard.

New Salesforce Prefill Abilities

The updates don’t stop at our platform product. Our Salesforce app has also seen some improvements. You can now prefill forms in Salesforce communities from a Lightning Record List component. Simply place your Community Form on a Lightning Record Detail page in your community and select the proper population method. This new prefill method can be used for many processes, including:

  • Higher education registration
  • Service case management
  • Permit applications
  • Sales opportunity logging

Test out this new prefill in your Salesforce communities by downloading the Salesforce app from the AppExchange here.

But Wait There’s More…

SCIM Updates: We’ve made improvements to our SCIM offerings so that you can manage users from any cloud-based SSO provider.

HIPAA Compliant Payments: You can now take payments and remain HIPAA compliant. Our PayPal and Stripe integrations are now HIPAA compliant.

Billing Improvements: We’ve updated our billing system so you can easily find your receipts in the app and request others to receive emails for receipts.

Formstack Go Updates: We’ve released several updates to our Formstack Go app so that you can capture offline submissions easier than ever before.
